In 610 AD “…an Italian monk invented pretzels as a reward to children who learn their prayers. He called the strips of baked dough, folded to resemble arms crossing the chest, ‘pretiola’ (“little rewards”). Here at BRÜ HAUS, no religious mantra required, we serve up our famous German pretzels just to your liking – lightly salted, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. And for a couple of guys from LA, adding our dessert churro pretzel to the menu was fitting.
